Adam Levine is officially reclaiming his red swivel chair. The Maroon 5 frontman will return as a coach on The Voice’s 27th season, NBC announced on June 5. Levine, a mainstay during the show’s first 16 seasons, left in 2019.
Joining him will be first-time full-season coach Kelsea Ballerini, known for her “bold, innovative approach” as a crossover artist and songwriter. Ballerini previously served as a battle advisor in season 16 and a temporary coach in season 20.
Returning coach John Legend and newcomer Michael Bublé, who debuts as a coach in season 26, will round out the panel. Current coaches Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, and Snoop Dogg will not return after season 26, premiering this fall.
Reba McEntire’s team recently won season 25 with gospel singer Asher HaVon, who expressed deep gratitude for her mentorship.
Fans can look forward to Levine’s return in spring 2025. Meanwhile, they can enjoy glimpses of his family life with wife Behati Prinsloo and their kids. The Voice season 26 premieres this fall on NBC, with season 27 following in spring 2025.
