Fans of Justin Hartley’s hit CBS series Tracker don’t have to wait long for a second season.
The procedural, based on Jeffery Deaver’s novel The Never Game, premiered in February after Super Bowl LVIII and quickly gained a dedicated audience. Each week, viewers tuned in to watch Colter (Hartley), a fictional survivalist, travel the country solving missing person cases and tracking down criminal information.
Tracker initially attracted fans due to its lead actor and the diverse mysteries Colter tackled. Season 1 became even more engaging with guest stars like Hartley’s real-life wife, Sofia Pernas, Melissa Roxburgh, and Jensen Ackles. Hartley also reunited with his former This Is Us co-stars Jon Huertas and Jennifer Morrison.
Following the season finale, viewership numbers confirmed that Tracker was the most-watched series of the 2023-24 TV season. CBS anticipated this success and had already renewed Tracker for a second season.
