Taylor Swift marked her 100th Eras Tour show by announcing the final dates of her record-breaking concert series.
Taylor Swift is relishing every moment on the Eras Tour stage, but the journey must come to an end eventually.
During the tour’s landmark show in Liverpool on June 13, the “Karma” singer reflected on the incredible journey shared with her fans, band, crew, and dancers since the tour’s start in March 2023.
“This is actually the 100th show of the Eras Tour,” Taylor announced to the crowd at Anfield Stadium. “Absolutely, that blows my mind. That doesn’t feel like a real statistic to me because this has definitely been an exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life.”
The 34-year-old also hinted at when this remarkable chapter will conclude.
“The celebration of the 100th show means that this is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself, and admitted that this tour is going to end in December,” she explained. “That feels so far away from now.”
She continued, “But then again, it feels like we just played the first show on this tour because you have made this so much fun for us, that we wanted to do a hundred shows, 150-something shows that we have on the whole tour.”
Throughout Taylor’s record-breaking tour—which has spanned the United States, Latin America, Asia, and Europe—she has also released a tour film, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” two rerecorded albums, “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” and “1989 (Taylor’s Version),” as well as her 11th studio album “The Tortured Poets Department,” which made its live debut in the three-hour show last month.
While this tour has further cemented her status as a hitmaker, Taylor admits it has been overwhelming.
“It’s taken over everything,” she shared during her June 13 speech. “I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they are anymore, because all I do when I’m not on stage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups, and think about what you might want to hear.”
Despite the challenges, Taylor’s passion for her fans—among them stars like Jessica Capshaw and Emily Blunt, as well as her boyfriend Travis Kelce—remains unwavering.
“Really, when I’m not on stage, I’m just dreaming about being back on stage with you guys,” she added.
